Ed O'Neill, a Viet Nam Veteran and founder, started Veterans Mowing and Plowing in 2007 as a way to give back to the veteran community. His goal is to help Veterans learn how to establish a successful business despite the physical and emotional challenges many of them face. While working with Ed, his employees learn how interact with customers, bid on contracts, negotiate contracts, do general bookkeeping, market their services, maintain a schedule and seek financing to start their business. When they are ready to move out on the own, Ed helps them with financing and purchasing their equipment and establishing a customers base.
